Hallie Schauer

Hallie Schauer is a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Beginning her career as a candy striper at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings, MT, during high school, she demonstrated a passion for patient care early on.
Hallie pursued her nursing education while working at Westpark Village Assisted Living, successfully graduating from Montana State University (MSU) with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree in May 1996.
After graduation, Hallie relocated to Pittsburgh, PA, where she served as an RN Charge Nurse at The Woodwell Nursing Home, gaining invaluable experience in skilled nursing care. She then returned to Billings, MT, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from MSU in May 1998. During this time, she worked in the Medical/Oncology unit at Deaconess Medical Center, now Billings Clinic, specializing in oncology care and obtaining her oncology certification.
Hallie had a successful tenure at St. Vincent’s Hospital, where she worked in Orthopedics and Surgery Plus. During her time there, she helped with prepping patients for surgery, gave post-operative care, and provided support in the Infusion Unit and Walk-in Clinic. Her dedication and expertise led to her being tasked with managing chemotherapy regimens and responding to emergencies.
Hallie retired briefly in 2013 after she got married and moved to Sheridan, Wyoming. However, her passion for nursing and commitment to patient care led her back to the field. Since May 2018, she has been serving as an RN/PRN at Welch Cancer Center, where she volunteered to work full-time in the Covid Testing Center during the crisis and continues to provide support in the Infusion Unit. Additionally, she has actively participated in volunteer initiatives, including serving as President of PLGA (Powderhorn Ladies Golf Associated) and contributing to fundraising efforts for patient assistance programs.
Hallie enjoys outdoor activities outside her professional endeavors, such as fishing, golfing, and hunting. Currently residing in Sheridan, Wyoming, she splits her time between Wyoming and Arizona, embracing a balanced lifestyle.
